Item Description

This used red 1990 Chevrolet cutvan with 58,688 original miles was acquired by the New Marlborough, Massachusetts Fire/Rescue Department in February of 2008 as military surplus equipment. This van has had regularly scheduled maintenance. This is an 8 cylinder, automatic transmission van with rust, and normal wear and tear of the interior expected in a vehicle of this age. A key will be provided. All tires are in fair condition. This van has a transferrable title. This van will be sold as is. This van will be sold where is. All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the van or ask questions before bidding. This auction will be closed at 11:15 am on Monday, September 9, 2024, and results of the auction will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen that evening. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. This van must be removed by the purchaser before September 24, 2024, 10 business days after bid has been awarded. This van will not be shipped and is ready to be driven off the lot.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
