Item Description
This used green camouflage 1986 D30 Chevrolet military pickup truck with 75,897 original miles was acquired by the New Marlborough, Massachusetts Highway Department in September of 2016 as military surplus equipment. This truck has had regularly scheduled maintenance, but currently does not run without a jump start because the batteries need replacement. This is an 8 cylinder, automatic transmission truck with rust, and normal wear and tear of the interior expected in a truck of this age. A key will be provided. All tires are in fair condition. This truck has a transferrable title. This truck will be sold as is. This truck will be sold where is. All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the truck or ask questions before bidding. This auction will be closed at 11:00 am on Monday, September 9, 2024, and results of the auction will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen that evening. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. This truck must be removed by the purchaser before September 24, 2024, 10 business days after bid has been awarded. This truck will not be shipped. The highway crew will be happy to assist with jump starting the vehicle, or loading it to be towed.

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
