Payment must be made with Cash, Cashier's Check, Treasurer's Check, Certified Check, or U.S. Postal Money Order payable to the Town of Chelmsford at the time of pickup – no personal or business checks will be accepted. There are no refunds. Pickup must be within ten (10) working days from the date of the end of the auction. The winning bidder is responsible for transportation costs for the pickup of each item. The winning bidder must also submit a signed “Certificate of Non-Collusion” (provided by municipality) prior to receipt of property as required by Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B, Section 10.

1999 Freightliner Smeal Engine. Top mount pump. On board hydraulic pump and reel. On board generator. 750-gallon poly tank. In service until June 2024. 4,098 engine hours. 32' long, 10' high.

A:	Transmission model: MD 3060 P The transmission is new and has about 4,500 miles on it. Additionally, the fire pump, which was recently replaced at a cost of over $20,000, has been tested for compliance. Pictures will be added. • Allison remanufactured transmission (paperwork photo will be added) • New Fire pump, certified and tested. • New exhaust • New drive shafts • On-spot for winter driving • Fire equipment shown(ex. hose) not included with engine purchase • If engine is purchased by someone outside the fire service(ex. collector) emergency lights and siren will be disconnected. -Answered on 07/17/2024 04:35 PM

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
