The successful bidder shall be responsible for coordinating with the Town's Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent to schedule a time and date to pick up their items. They can be reached at 508-660-7329. The successful bidder shall present personal identification, a certified or cashier’s check written by or on a local financial institution and payable to the order of “Town of Walpole” for the total amount of the item and before receiving the bill of sale, keys, and item. Payment for this item shall be accepted at the Department of Public Works, Walpole, MA. **No cash, credit cards or personal checks will be accepted.** Again, only after receipt of payment will the Town issue the bill of sale, keys, and items to the awarded bidder. At any time, the Town of Walpole reserves the right to reject any bid submission. What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
