This truck served as an emergency Fire/EMS vehicle and is equipped with red emergency lighting and siren. This vehicle is sold as where is with no implied warranty and all sales will be final. The Borough of Downingtown can accept or reject any and all bids. Buyer assumes responsibility of condition and pick up of vehicle. Final sale pending committee approval 9-16-2024. Bid to close 9-13-2024 at 1:30 PM. Inspection by appointment only, contact Paul at 484-880-5861. It should be noted if the vehicle is to be sold a private party that all emergency lighting will be removed prior to the sale. If the private party is part of an emergency organization, said individual shall produce a letter from the Chief or Authority having Jurisdiction, stating the individual has permission to purchase this vehicle with emergency equipment in place.

- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
