Payment Details
The winning bidder shall be notified after the close of the item auctioned by the auction website. The item result may be voted on by Borough Council at their meeting on October 21, 2024. Once the sale of the vehicle has been approved by Council, payment and pickup arrangements should be made with Sergeant Craig Sorg, at 412-963-7220. The winning bidder agrees to pay by certified bank check or money order payment and remove all items won at bid within ten business days of the award unless other arrangements are made with the Borough in advance. Payment must be made to the Borough of Fox Chapel located at 401 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
Item Description
American Aluminum K9 insert out of a 2018 Ford Explorer.
The door panels are brand new, still in the box.
It is completely aluminum and fully welded, with double-walled front panels, polycarbonate headrest protectors, and round vertical bars for maximized visibility and strength. The front sliding emergency escape door is on a sliding track with a spring-loaded locking system.
Seamless Base Pan fully welded and specific fit contouring to allow canine leg safe ease upon entry and exit. Base extends door sill to door sill, utilizing all available space and allowing for easy rinsing and cleaning without damage to the vehicle. Canopy with punch design allows for maximum airflow from vehicles with existing factory rear A/C and heat. All platform units include perfectly contoured Window Guards and Door Panels.
Door Panels are contoured, smooth, flat designs for ease of installation. Complete Hardware kit included.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
