Item Description
2003 Ford F750 Cab & Chassis. Caterpillar 7.2 Deisel, Manual Transmission, Air Brake. 27,543 Miles. Terex Hi-Ranger XT5 Insulated Aerial Lift 55ft. Chipper body with storage compartments. Electric Brake Controller, Pintle Hitch. 2 Keys. Clear, clean, green Michigan Title. Last Aerial Lift Inspection 05.07.22 (pass all tests). New Rear Leaf Springs October 2019. New Clutch/flexplate March 2023, 26,482 miles. Last PM service 07.24.24 27,520 miles. No known mechanical issues.
ITEM CONDITION: It is strongly recommended that all interested parties inspect the item thoroughly before an offer to purchase is submitted. Although known defects are noted, major or minor defects may exist, and as such, it is your responsibility to verify the condition of each item. YOUR BID IS YOUR CONTRACT to purchase the item.
LIABILITY: The vehicle/ item is sold “as is” and “where is” without warranty either expressed or implied. No warranties are offered. The City reserves the right to withdraw an item at any time from the auction.
INSPECTION: Inspection of any auction item is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact Dan Brisson, Public Works Director via email dbrisson@cityoffenton.org or via text at 248-431-2351 to arrange a mutual inspection date and time. Auction items are located at the DPW facility, 200 N. Alloy Drive, Fenton, Michigan 48430. Vehicle can be started but cannot be driven. Operation of the chipper body and aerial lift are permitted.
BID AWARD: Upon completion of the auction listing, the highest bidder will be invoiced via email. Invoicing will be emailed within two business days of the close of the auction.
PAYMENT/ ITEM PICKUP: Payment and pick up of the item is due within FIVE (5) business days of the auction end date. Payment and pickup is located at 200 N. Alloy, Fenton, Michigan 48430. Buyer must contact Dan Brisson via email dbrisson@cityoffenton.org or text 248-431-2351 to arrange a mutual time for payment and pickup of the auction item.
Payment is by EXACT cash, Certified Check or Money Order payable to CITY OF FENTON. Applicable sales tax will be charged by the Secretary of State upon transfer of title (if applicable).
TITLE: (If applicable) Title will only be issued to the name of the person listed as the awarded bidder on the auction website. Without exception, the selling price, date of sale and mileage of vehicle will be listed on the title. The buyer agrees to transfer the Title within the timeframe and guidelines established by the State of Michigan for title transfer. Parties with Dealer License must provide a copy of State of Michigan Dealer License for title assignment to a licensed dealer.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. You pay the selling agency directly for the full cost of the item. (unless otherwise noted)
All Buyers fee's are aggregate unless otherwise noted. This means after you cross certain price thresholds you will pay a different buyers fee for the remaining amount. See below for an example.
Example:
If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
