Item Description
Vehicle being auctioned is a black 2014 Gasoline powered Ford Explorer AWD Police Utility Vehicle, owned by the Town of Bridgewater Ma, Bridgewater Police Department. The vehicle was used by the department patrol division and is in fair condition but has some minor scratches and marks in the paint. It starts/runs. The following have been replaced: 2018 engine replaced at 99,433 miles, 2019 alternator replaced, 2020 power transfer case replaced, 2021 had exhaust pipe put on, and brakes have been replaced multiple times. The oil has been changed regularly. The vehicle needs an A/C compressor, has an exhaust leak, and has no heat. The vehicle has cloth front seats and does not have a backseat. The vehicle's inspection sticker is from June 2023 (expired June 2024). The vehicle is being sold "AS IS" with no express or implied warranties. The Town of Bridgewater reserves the right to reject any bid for any reason at any time. Successful Bidder is responsible for any and all costs associated with the transfer, registration, licensing, taxes, and pick up. Successful Bidder must also sign required Non-Collusion form, MGL C30B, must provide certified bank check for the total amount of bid, a bill of sale will be provided, and remove Vehicle within (7) days of Close of Auction. - Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
