Item Description
We are selling a one owner, 2004 HME Ahrens Fox, Silverfox Custom fire engine.
- 5 person cab (driver, officer, 3 rear seats, one EMS compartment in cab)
- Engine: Cummins ISL
- Transmisison: Allison
- Pump: Hale Single Stage QMax 1500 GPM
- 822 gallon water tank

This engine was purchased new by this department in 2004 and has served continuously for 20 years. Starts, runs, drives. Was serviced and maintained regularly.
Condition: This has spent its life serving a coastal community. There is corrosion. The exhaust has significant corrosion and needs replacement. There is corrosion on the frame rails but unsure of the extent. The pump is functional, however, the discharge valves are original and were not great quality to begin with. There have been problems with the pressure governor fluctuating pressure on discharge lines when in PSI mode. It is believed this is due to the dischage valves being worn. Unsure if the pump will pull a draft due to the worn valves.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
