The winning bidder shall be notified after the close of the auction. The winning bidder agrees to pay for item(s) by money order or certified bank check payable to the Town of Burlington . Winning bidder shall mail check to Town of Burlington, Accounting Office at 29 Center St.Burlington, MA before receiving good(s).Once the successful bidder has taken possession of the items, the transaction shall be recorded in the form of a written receipt for the payment and the purchaser shall sign a written acknowledgment of receipt of the item. The Town Administrator will be responsible for signing any Bill of Sale or Registry Title prior to a successful bidder taking possession of the respective item after confirmation of payment. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any bid if that is in the best interests of the Town.
Item Description
2011 F-250 with 127919 miles. Tire light and check engine light are on, Truck is in rough shape with rot and rust. Windshield is cracked. Check engine light is on for PO456 very small evap leak. Truck inspection sticker is expired and will not pass sticker. Has a fisher MM2 three wire plow. NO HEADLIGHTS for plow. Light bar and tool box go with truck. 2 way radio and truck graphics will be removed prior to sale. Plow is in the bed of the truck for easy transport.

- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
