Questions/Answers Ask the seller a question about this auction.

You must be to ask and answer questions.
Q:
"Hello, I see in the description that this unit was in a flood. Is it known if the unit runs, powers up, or if the engine will turn over? Thank you "
- Asked by #34856668 03/18/2025 06:45 AM
A:
It is unknown. Because of the flooding we did not ever try to start it up in order to prevent any damage to the motor.
-Answered on 03/18/2025 08:31 AM
Q:
"How high was the water on the unit? Any photos of the unit in the water? Does the control panel still illuminate prior to starting?"
- Asked by #37727076 03/18/2025 08:18 PM
A:
It was submerged. We do not have photos of it in the water. Because of the flooding we did not try to start it up in order to prevent any damage.

Q:
"How long was the unit submerged for? Did you drain the water from the crankcase? Did you drain the fuel tank? Did you open up and drain the water from the control panel? Did you remove the saturated air cleaner? Thanks in advance for answering my questions."
- Asked by #26231230 03/19/2025 01:35 PM
A:
It was submerged for about 8 hours, then allowed to drain, but nothing was opened.

Q:
"Thank you for the response. But you are very vauge with you answer to my questions. I'm bidding from a distance and would like to bid on this unit. Would you be more specific with your answers to my questions? I'm sure there are a lot of other people who will bid on this unit which then would possibly bring more money for the unit. Thanks!"
- Asked by #26231230 03/20/2025 07:43 AM
A:
Apologies. The unit was submerged for approximately 8 hours. We did not drain the crankcase, the fuel tank, or the control panel. The air cleaner was not removed. At that time our operations staff was focused on getting the sewer plant back in operation. Hope this helps! (edited on 03/20/2025 07:52 AM)
