Item Description
For bids are three sewage grinder pumps. Two have been used and the other one has not been put into service. The one on the left side of the picture is a ABS Piranha pump manufactured in Ireland. The one on the right is a Sulzer sewage grinder pump which has not been used and was manufactured in the USA. The identified plates shown for each pump show the electrical specifications of each. The pump shown alone has been used but removed from service in an upgrade of our sewer treatment plant. These pumps are lowered into a pump station by a 1 ½ inch galvanized pipe. One used pipe rail guard attachment is included.
The control panel regulates three pumps and is a bubbler type panel which lowers an air tube into the influent entering the pump station. The back pressure of the influent against the air in the tube turns the pumps on and off alternately with various selections possible (1-2) (2-3)(1-3). The third pump not selected is the high influent pump, turned on when the influent exceeds a preset high level.
You are bidding on all three pumps, (two used and one new), the pump control panel, and one slide rail guide as a package.
The remaining photograph is a slide rail guide which bolts to the 1½ inch outlet of the pump and in turn fits over the outlet pipe which runs to the influent treatment tank allowing a person to lower the pump into the pump station without having to climb into it to set the pump. It has been used before and is the only one available.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
