Federal signal Valor lightbar color blue came off 2020 Explorer PIU
Inspections by appointment only, call Al 781-577-8182 or email aciccone@newtonma.gov. Items must be picked up within 7 days close of auction. Payment made in full by money order or certified check, prior to the item leaving. Certified check or money order made payable to City of Newton Police Dept.
City of Newton bid #24-78. Surplus item sold to the highest bidder, sold "AS IS and "WHERE IS." Item offered for sale as listed, without warranty, guarantee or liability of any kind on part of the City of Newton. All City of Newton employees must comply with the provisions of G.L. 268A when bidding surplus equipment. They also must file a disclosure with the city clerk's office.

All equipment was operational when taken out of service. Power and Ground wires vary in length. CAT5 cable will have to be replaced.

All equipment was operational when taken out of service. You will need a compatible switch panel controller for it to work and use all of its functions (flashing blue, solid blue, alley lights, scene lights, flood lights, rear traffic advisor). This lightbar was only in service for about 2 years, when I turned the vehicle it was on into an unmarked.

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
