Q:
"Where is the leak? AWD? Heat or AC?"

A:
The leak is at the front of the transmission. It is 4WD/AWD all the time. The cab has heat. (edited on 04/03/2025 10:40 AM)

Q:
"To fix the transmission leak, you have to remove the engine to replace the main seal? Just had this done on one of my mowers and Kubota dealer charged me almost 4k I am assuming that is the leak or if it was something easy, you would have replaced a line in house. "
- Asked by #55587671 04/08/2025 07:39 AM
A:
The Township also took it to a Kubota dealer and got a similar estimate. Since we knew that we were going to sell it, we didn't have the work done. We kept an eye on the fluid level and continued to use the mower through the end of last year.
