Item Description
The Dover Area School District is selling a 1999 Ford F-450 Super Duty Aerial Bucket Truck. The truck has 168,013 miles on it. The District is not the original owner of the vehicle. The truck starts and runs. The following replacements for the braking system were recommended during the last service visit: brake rotors, brake pads and brake lines.
Bidders can arrange to inspect the unit before bidding. Hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Guarantee Waiver. All property is offered for sale "AS IS, WHERE IS." Dover Area School District (Seller) makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The Buyer is not entitled to any payment for loss of profit or any other money damages - special, direct, indirect, or consequential. Description Warranty: DASD (Seller) warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If DASD(Seller) confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final. Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to making an offer/bid. If applicable, Bidders must adhere to the inspection dates and times indicated in the item description. Payment: Payment in full is due at the time of removal. Acceptable forms of payment are: Certified bank or cashier's check made out to Dover Area School District, or U.S Currency for items $4,000.00 or less. Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of the District's award of successful offer/bid. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for all loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located.

The lift was functional during its last use, although the battery for the lift system may be dead. The truck does have a coolant leak and it is believed to be the heater core. There are some rust issues with the bed and rear bumper as can be seen in the provided pictures. The tool boxes are in decent shape.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
