Payment Details
Bids will be accepted until October 14, 2025 at 10 AM. Payment from the successful bidder must be received by the City of Franklin within five (5) days of the awarding of the bid. Payment must be made by cash, check or money order, made payable to the City of Franklin. The successful bidder must pickup the items within fifteen (15) days of awarding the bid. The General Authority of the City of Franklin reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason.
Item Description
1986 Pierce Dash 1500 gpm Pumper with 750-gallon water tank. This truck features a 350 hp 2-stroke Detroit 6V92TA diesel engine, a 4-speed Allison HT740 automatic transmission and Rockwell axles. The pump is a Waterous CSU single stage. The odometer shows only 21,368 miles, with all tires in good condition. The fire body is galvanized steel. While the truck has no known mechanical issues, it is important to note that both the water tank and fire pump have leaks. The frame has surface rust, but no heavy scaling or rust jacking is present. The truck is being sold as is, where is. It's essential to highlight that this truck CANNOT be used for emergency service response by another fire department.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
