Item Description
This used, red 2015 Ford F550 model F5H cab and chassis truck with 69,785 miles, has had one owner, the Town of New Marlborough, which purchased the truck in February 2015. This 4WD truck starts and runs and has had regularly scheduled maintenance. This is a complete, working machine, although there is a carbon knock, which has been present for four years but does not seem to impact operation. Documentation is available from reputable mechanics assuring that the machine is safe. Multiple new parts have been installed throughout the years and repairs have been made through the dealership. The body is in excellent condition with very little rust, and normal wear and tear of the interior expected in a truck of this age. This vehicle has a diesel 8-cylinder engine. A front plow frame is attached and will be included in the purchase with the plow. This truck has a transferrable title.
This auction will be closed at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 8, 2025, and results of the auction will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen that evening.

All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the truck or ask questions before bidding. This truck will be sold as is. This truck will be sold where is. This truck will not be shipped. This truck must be removed by the purchaser before Tuesday September 23, 2025, 10 business days after bid has been awarded. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. Previously this truck had a 9 foot flatbed dump, but was removed to install on another truck in our fleet.
60 inch from cab to axle.
9 feet from cab to end of frame .

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
