This vehicle was purchased new in November of 2019 and placed into service in August of 2020 and used as a patrol unit until it was taken out of service in November 2025. When it was decommissioned, the police equipment was removed, it was inspected and emission tested, new rear brakes (pads and rotors), 2 new catalytic converters installed, and it was cleaned and detailed. This patrol unit was assigned and shared by two officers (we find that assigned cars are cared for better than motor pool patrol units). It has been garage kept. Patrol is generally all residential with almost no highway high speed driving. The tires are in like new condition. There is no visible rust and no known mechanical issues. The underside of this vehicle is almost rust free (see photos). There are no dash lights on. AC blows ice cold. Comes with Weather Tech Floor liners. The factory back up cam was changed to one that is in the rear view mirror.
While in-service the vehicle was extremely well maintained. Almost all service was done in-house by the Borough’s mechanics or at the Ford Dealership. Service records are included in the listing. The following items are the only known issues and are all cosmetic and common to used police vehicles. The driver's seat has wear (see photo). The headliner has a couple of holes and wear marks from where the partition had been installation. The light bar was removed so there is a sealed hole in the roof where the wiring ran (common to used police vehicles). The spotlight is not working. There are minor scratches, scuffs, and dings but no major damage. Overall, this is a very nice SUV and would make a great safe car for your kids.
Water Pump replaced on 10/21/23 at 64307 miles. New exhaust in 7/24. TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 7000 MILES ON THEM.
Vehicle is located at the Franklin Park Borough Police Department which is just north of Pittsburgh PA close to Interstate 79 and the PA Turnpike (76).
This vehicle is being sold in AS IS CONDITION.
This vehicle and a complete service history are available for inspection at the police station between the hours of 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday by appointment.
The mileage listed may increase slightly as the vehicle is being driven on occasion.
“Why can’t the car be test driven” is a question we are always asked. Our response is that though this vehicle is drivable, we do not allow it DUE TO INSURANCE PURPOSES.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
