Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges they have either inspected the vehicle or waived their right to inspection. Vehicle starts, runs, and drives. Normal wear consistent with age and municipal use is present. The driver’s seat requires replacement. Additional unknown defects may exist. Full payment is due within the timeframe specified by Municibid following auction close. Acceptable payment methods: Certified check, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to East Conemaugh Borough. No personal checks or credit cards will be accepted. Failure to submit payment within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the award and the vehicle being offered to the next highest bidder. Pickup Procedures: Buyer is solely responsible for vehicle pickup and/or transport. Vehicle must be removed within 10 business days of payment confirmation unless prior arrangements are approved by the Borough. Pickup is by appointment only, Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM (excluding holidays). Buyer must contact the Borough to schedule pickup. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at time of pickup. A clear title will be provided to the successful bidder after full payment has been received and processed. Title transfer, registration, inspection, and any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer. No Refunds All sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be permitted. Liability: East Conemaugh Borough is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur after the vehicle leaves Borough property.
