Engine: Detroit diesel (totally rebuilt by I-70 Wrecker Service & Garage, 2019)
Known issues: Batteries need charged and/or replaced, Rust present around rear wheel well.
General maintenance, ladder testing, and pump testing were kept up to date until the unit was removed from service. All manuals that are available will be given to the buyer. Will also provide maintenance records as they are available.
It is equipped with the following items but not limited to this list, as demonstrated in the photos, with emergency lights, siren box, generic laptop mount, radio speaker, ground ladders (24' Extension, 14' Roof, and Attic), (2) 6" hard suction hose, deluge/deck gun with smooth bore tips, penetrating nozzle, 5" intake appliances, additional mounts, SCBA mounts and sigtronics system without headsets. This list is not "all-inclusive" and equipment may or may not be in working order. The mobile radio unit in the photographs will be removed prior to selling the truck.
Seller's Terms & Conditions
If required by law or upon the successful bidder’s request, the successful bidder shall remove any fire identifiers including graphics, lights, or siren components. A successful bidder who requests such accessories to remain on the vehicle will agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Mooresville, Indiana for any actions or damages that may result. The Town of Mooresville is selling the vehicle “as is”. Questions concerning the vehicle may be directed to Chief Pascal Arnes by email at parnes@mooresville.in.gov or by phone 317-831-5354. The Town will not provide any financing for the purchase of the vehicle. All financing must be independently secured with payment made in full to the Town of Mooresville at or before the time of sale by a payment method acceptable to the Town of Mooresville. Transfer of title to the vehicle shall be by quitclaim bill of sale, and there are no warranties of any kind. The successful bidder shall be responsible for reporting any applicable sales tax. The Town of Mooresville has the right to reject the final bid or cancel or withdraw an auction for any reason within its sole and absolute discretion.
