Once bidding has closed, the Town will notify the successful bidder via email and provide an invoice. The successful bidder is responsible for contacting the Vehicle Maintenance Department at (508-660-7333) to schedule a designated date and time for item pickup. Items will not be released without a confirmed appointment. At the time of pickup, the successful bidder must present valid identification and submit payment in full in the form of a check made payable to the “Town of Walpole.” Payment must be made at the Purchasing Department in Walpole, MA. A bill of sale and the item will be released only after payment has been received and processed. The Town of Walpole will not provide assistance with loading or transporting items. The successful bidder is solely responsible for removal and should arrive prepared with any necessary equipment (e.g., hand trucks, straps, chains, etc.). The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids at its discretion. All sales are final. Items are sold as-is, with no warranties, refunds, or exchanges.
