Payment Terms: Payment in full must be made within 5 business days from the time and date of the Notice of Award. Failure to comply may result in the item being relisted or awarded to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder is responsible for removing the item(s) by May 13th at NOON. Please note that loading is the buyer's responsibility and pick-ups are by appointment only.
Payment Methods: Payments should be made to Cumberland County Facilities Management at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA. Acceptable forms of payment include exact cash or cashier’s check payable to Cumberland County during normal business hours Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Credit card payments are also accepted in person or over the phone; however, please be aware that additional fees will apply.
Terms of Sale: Cumberland County, as the seller, offers no warranty or guarantees, implied or expressed, for the vehicle/item being sold, which is offered "AS IS". Bidders must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of forming a binding contract as a buyer.
Refunds: Please note that refunds will NOT be provided for items not picked up by the specified deadline.
Bidding Process: The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof.

SOLD AS IS Payment and Title MUST be transferred during one of the following time frames: May 1st, 2:30-4:30 pm / May 4th - noon-4:00 pm / May7th 10:00 am-2:00 pm / May 8th 1:00 pm-4:00 pm Payment in full must be made within 5 business days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the County reserves the right to relist the item or award to the second highest bidder. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with transfer of title. Title transfer will be coordinated with Sherman's Messenger Service and Cumberland County Commissioner's Office. The successful bidder shall remove the item(s) by Wednesday May 13th at noon if title transfer has been completed. The successful bidder will make payment to Cumberland County Facilities Management, 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA in the form of cash, or cashier’s check, made payable to Cumberland County during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm. Credit card payments can be made in person or over the phone (note: additional fees applied to credit card payments). Cumberland County, as seller, disclaims any warranty/guarantees, implied or expressed, vehicle/item is being sold “AS IS”. What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
