Item Description
2006 Ford Freestar cargo van. Current mileage: 105,705 miles. The vehicle identification number is 2FTZA546X6BA46281. This vehicle was used daily as a water distribution system service vehicle. The vehicle runs, has current PA state inspection and has A/C. The vehicle is available for inspection by appointment at Chester Water Authority (CWA) Distribution Headquarters, 437 W. Front Street, Chester, PA 19013. Contact Mark Mano at 610-876-0940, ext 250. The Authority’s communication equipment, identifying markings and tools and equipment will be removed by the Authority prior to sale. The “check engine light” is on in the vehicle. It was determined that the second and third cylinders were miss-firing along with a random miss-fire. There also is an issue with the lean exhaust code. Vehicle is being sold otherwise “AS IS”. CWA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Payment must be made by Cashiers Check. Buyer is required to deliver the Cashiers Check in the total amount of the high bid to Chester Water Authority the next business day after the auction closes. Once the Chester Water Authority has received the Cashier’s Check, the buyer will be contacted by Chester Water Authority to schedule the title transfer to complete the sales transaction. Buyer is responsible for paying all fees associated with vehicle title transfer and licensing. Buyer must pick up vehicle. Bids are due by 9 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
