Payment shall be made in the form of Cash or Certified Check payable to Northshore Education Consortium within 10 days of Notice of Award. The winning bidder agrees to pay for and remove all items won at bid within 10 business days of the award unless other arrangements are made in advance. Payments shall be mailed or delivered to Attn: Robert Cameron, Northshore Education Consortium, 112 Sohier Road Beverly, MA 01915. The sale of this item is being conducted within the rules and regulations of MA General Law Ch. 30b Rule for Award: The surplus supplies will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the item described in this auction. The Northshore Education Consortium reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is determined to be in the best interest of Northshore Education Consortium to do so. Prior to pick-up, the winning bidder must sign a Non-Collusion Form.

Item Description

This 2008 Ford Econoline (E-350) van is equipped with a fully operable wheelchair lift and is being sold as surplus equipment. The vehicle features a white exterior and was previously utilized for student transportation.

The van currently has 62,705 miles on the odometer. The wheelchair lift is functional and ready for use.

The vehicle requires a jump start due to a dead battery and will need a battery replacement. Despite this, the engine starts and runs with a jump start, and the vehicle is currently driveable.

There is a known transmission issue. Further diagnosis will require removal of the transmission to determine whether the flywheel can be replaced or if more extensive repairs are necessary. The full extent of the repair remains unknown at this time.

This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no guarantees regarding its condition. Potential buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly prior to bidding.
