Selling because we do not wish to invest the money into the truck. Truck is a fantastic candidate for a refurb. Service records are not consistent due to new reporting systems being used over the years and information not being transferred.

Q: |
"How severe is the hydro leak? Is it still useable the way it is?" - Asked by #14554567 05/04/2026 09:37 PM |
A: |
It will need to be addressed. It was manageable prior to the other cylinder being rebuilt, but it increased in severity by about double once the other leak was fixed. It is affecting the crack pressure in the counter balance cartridge and one elevation cylinder will begin lowering just before the other when lowering elevation. The aerial is still capable of being flown, we just wont take it out of the cradle in order to negate the risk of damage prior to sale.

We paid ~$1875 to have the cylinder rebuilt. This does not include any disassembly or install on the truck.
