Item Description

2013 Ford Interceptor Explorer, former patrol vehicle, later placed into reserve used as a back up for years. Vehicle has front end passenger side damage from an accident slide off into a stop sign. We never had damage assessed. Vehicle starts with jump pack. Vehicle will need a new battery. There is left over mounting holes thru out the vehicle where police equipment was removed . SEE PHOTOGRAPHS. SOLD AS IS! SOLD FOR PARTS! Buyer will need to provide transportation for the vehicle as the vehicle is drivable but has damage will not have an active license plate or insurance at time of auctions end, and can not be driven off our lot. Vehicle has Indiana Title.

Q:	"Just want to confirm. Is this a running and driving vehicle, or a parts car thats had parts removed to repair other vehicles? Also I see the check engine light illuminated, does it stay on when vehicle is started?" - Asked by #75891256 05/17/2026 09:55 PM
A:	This was running and driving until December when it slid off of the road hitting a stop sign. The cost of the deductible was not worth value of this year of vehicle so we did not get it looked at ( unknown damage other than what is visible) . I drove it a few miles to the shop where the police equipment was pulled and drove it back. The engine light does not stay on when running, but the low tire indicator light does. It will need new tires, brakes and my guess some suspension work -Answered on 05/18/2026 09:24 AM

A:	It has surface rust on some of the rear iron cross member area and slight rust on unibody, I observed no serious issues or rot thru anywhere, however I am not a mechanic either -Answered on 05/18/2026 03:42 PM
