Payment Details

Payment shall be made directly to the City of Rockford. Accepted forms of payment: Cash (in person) Certified Check Cashier's Check Money Order Personal checks will not be accepted unless approved by the City and allowed sufficient time to clear before release of the vehicle. Payment in full is required within five (5) business days of notification of award. The vehicle, title, and any associated documents will not be released until payment has been received and verified by the City of Rockford. Failure to submit payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the sale and award to the next highest bidder or relisting of the vehicle. The purchaser is responsible for all title transfer fees, registration fees, taxes, and transportation costs.

Item Description

2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, formerly owned and operated by the Rockford Fire Department as a command vehicle. This vehicle was used primarily for emergency management, inspections, training, and administrative duties and has been maintained as part of a municipal fleet.

Condition:
The vehicle is in good running and driving condition and remains in active service until sold. As expected for a Minnesota vehicle of this age, there is rust present on several body corners and localized rust underneath the passenger seat area. The interior shows normal wear consistent with age and municipal use.

**Terms and Conditions** 1. The vehicle is being sold by the City of Rockford, Minnesota. 2. The vehicle is sold **AS-IS, WHERE-IS**, with no warranties expressed or implied as to condition, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or future performance. 3. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. Failure to inspect the vehicle shall not constitute grounds for cancellation of the sale. 4. The City makes no guarantees regarding the condition of the vehicle. Known defects include rust on body corners and rust in the floor area beneath the passenger seat. Additional defects may exist. 5. All emergency equipment, emergency lighting, sirens, radios, decals, and fire department identification have been removed from the vehicle. 6. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all title transfer fees, taxes, licensing fees, and any other costs associated with ownership and operation of the vehicle. 7. Full payment must be received before the vehicle is released to the purchaser. 8. The successful bidder shall remove the vehicle within ten (10) business days of payment unless other arrangements are approved by the City. 9. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City. 10. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
